Comedian Andrew Schultz Went ALL IN Clowning On Meek Mill's Sexuality In The Rapper's Home City Of Philly
Hold up, wait a minute. Funny is funny, and that's funny. Andrew Schulz is one of the best comedians in the game today and to bring that kind of hilarious heat on VERY short notice for a bit into Meek Mill's city is impressive. To get belly laughs at the rapper's expense IN HIS HOMETOWN is even more remarkable. The man help deliver a Super Bowl to this city for shit's sake. He should be and is pretty universally loved and respected in and around the City Of Brotherly Love (no pun intended). But again, funny is funny. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Meek didn't have to respond to the allegations or even the bit. He could've just let things go from the jump and, outside of a few trolls that never go away, people would forget and the 24/7 internet cycle would gleefully move onto its next pointless topic. But as Andrew Schulz pointed out, he did respond. Overly.
And now the Streisand Effect is in full force on Meek's sexuality to the point Meek tried to laugh(?) it off with Schulz responds via now deleted Tweet:
“[crying face emojis] the first time I laughed at being gay. But dont wit me in real life I May swing lol.”
Good gravy Meek's worst enemy right now is his own phone. Gay, straight, bi, black, white, purple, blue, broken, Klemmer. It doesn't matter what Meek is on the inside and out. As long as you do good in the world, which Meek has actually done with prison reform - WATCH HERE, nobody really cares. And if they do, that hate's on them. But - AGAIN - funny is funny. Even more AGAIN - Not that there's anything wrong with that.
PS - Still a banger. Thank you for the Super Bowl, Meek. Go Birds.
PPS - For no reason whatsoever, just leaving one of my favorite comedy bits of all-time from one greatest comedians ever. May I humbly present to you Chris Rock's "Tossed Salad Man":
